About Kerry: “I’m a native so I was familiar with Bonnie Brae. I’d worked at a local dairy store and just needed a change and saw an opening for a part-time person. I came in to work behind the counter, and I literally stepped into a great opportunity. It was a perfect fit. I love people, and the whole atmosphere was so great. Evelyn Houlihan, who had been the manager for 13 years, announced her retirement a few months after she hired me, so I stepped into the manager role shortly afterwards.”

Best Memory: “It’s hard to narrow it down to one memory. The part I love most is the kids who come in. Their eyes just open up when they walk through the door. I love being a part of something that makes people feel better. And that’s a daily feeling!”

Favorite Flavor: “Peppermint. Because you can’t find superb peppermint ice cream anywhere. I put a little chocolate syrup on it.”
